Now for a figure that wasn't in my list
Sabbac, the supposed antagonist for the upcoming DC Black Adam movie (supposed as I don't know what's the plot of the movie)
For DCEU, I stopped at Snyder Cut lineup but decided to make an exception for Black Adam so I needed his villain together. That and Sabbac's demonic theme
Sabbac is a megafig and comes with no accessories whatsoever aside from the base. This is quite surprising (and disappointing) as I'm expecting he would have a lightning or fire superpower in the movie. Or maybe he doesn't?
The sculpt and attention to detai is good. The sculpted chest is very well done. The overall paint finish is clean and without smudges.
The crotch flap(?) is made out of soft rubber which is expected.
McFarlane not being a cheapskate in terms of paint app
The figure is quite stable for megafig size. While I can't compare him to Cy-gor or Violator, he's still better than in terms of stability compared to JL Steppenwolf.
I do feel like his face sculpt is too "nice" when you compare with the overall aesthetic of the body. But again, is it being poorly translated in the figure or that's how he is in the movie? We have to find that out when the movie comes out.
If I'm being honest, I'm not familiar with the character and don't know the nature of his power. That makes it hard to imagine the poses he should do. But as far as articulation goes, he's an okay figure, on par with generally other McFarlane figures
Size wise, he's generally the same size as Darkseid. It's good to see they still put in a lot of effect sculpting him as they did back when they released Darkseid
Putting aside how the movie would do and how's the character will be portrayed, Sabbac is not a bad figure. A lot of detailing, clean paint job and great sculpt. But to know whether he is accurate to the movie (head sculpt especially) we need to wait until the movie hits theatres
