Transformers Legacy Evolution Titan Class Decepticon Nemesis - Pictorial Review

Sorry for the lack of review recently, June and July had been a crazy month, both at work and personal life.

But I think I don't want to miss the chance of reviewing her.

Yes, her.

The 2nd G1, yet not G1 per say, Titan. The most powerful warship the Decepticons had ever built. The Nemesis

Alt Mode

You may remember her from G1's first episode, More Than Meets The Eye Part 1 where the Decepticons went on a pursuit for Autobot's Ark

The Nemesis captures the design almost perfectly. And the sheer size of her, is something you really should see with your own eyes.

As many would expect, the nose part is made out of hard rubber, to avoid breakage should it fell nose first. But the thing with rubber parts is that, they always have issue with tabbing.

My first complain. Lack of stand. But luckily she has a land configuration.

The cannons all came separately from the figure, in a sprue. Better than Ark where the cannons are all fixed, molded parts. But they could fall off especially when transforming her.

The detailing is nicely done with light purple and red highlights.

I like how the choose the same thrusters color as the Ark, for consistency.

It may not be obvious but there's a lot of detailing on the her panels.

A small door can be opened revealing a ramp that can be used with Earthrise figures especially their Battlemasters.

One the main reason I have to have her. These 2 looks good together.

I personally satisfied with the alt mode. It has great designs throughout and good executions. Most of the panel tabs in okay without issue aside from the nose.

Robot Mode

She had gotten mixed comments when the robot mode was revealed. But I kinda get the aesthetics that they went for. But she could've been done better.

She's meant to be slightly hunched. Again, it's the choice Hasbro made. But she looks better than standing up straight.

The overall detailing are nicely done. While the deco is quite minimal, it fits her nicely.

The back kibble is also something I can accept. Minimal and doesn't disrupt the overall playability of the figure.

The details on the warship mode translate nicely into robot mode.

Just like the Ark having face like the Autobot's insignia, Nemesis's face sculpt and head design is the Decepticon's insignia itself.

The panels on the side of her cheek can either be pushed outwards or close, giving you 2 options.

While she has most of the average joints, her articulations was limited by the design. The ankle rockers are limited, her knees can go just a bit over 90 degrees.

She does come with double jointed elbows but are quite limited on her shoulders. The side panels also limiting her hand's range of movement.

Despite all of that, she is still a playable titan.

Her shin covers (the wings) transform into her guns as you can see above. Inside of securing through her grip, the gun tabs onto her wrist which is very secure. There are 2 ways the guns can be configured, as above and below.

There are 2 small wings that can be used axes (or are they small flags??) but nahh

The pair looks good side by side, despite the somewhat different design choices.

The heavy hitters

Just like The Ark, Nemesis's alt mode is something you really should have in your collection. The warship mode is very accurate to her G1 design and nicely executed. The robot mode, personally, is not that bad despite somewhat unconventional. As a robot that transform from a huge warship, I feel the aesthetic is acceptable. However, it does feels a bit of a step-backwards compared to Legacy Titan Metroplex's playability. Still, not a deal breaker
