Hasbro Starting Lineup Series 1 Stephen curry - Pictorial Review

Next, we'll take a look at another Starting Lineup figure, the Golden Boy Stephen Curry, courtesy of Hasbro MY and Hasbro SG

Review of Starting Lineup LeBron James can be found here.

In Package

The starting lineup uses windowless box, much like other Hasbro recent releases, following their no-plastic packaging policy.

The printing on the box is really nicely done with premium look and finishing.

The box is compact and sturdy with additional outer brown box for extra protection.

The figure and the accessories (underneath) are packed in paper but a better quality one that wouldn't tear easily.

The first accessories. A stand with 'SLU' logo on the base.

Personally I would prefer a brighter colored stand but I guess if that's the logo used, it can't be helped

Smaller claw size used compared to the one included with LeBron.

Just like LeBron, Stephen Curry also comes with Panini NFT Trading Card.

Read more about Panini NFT Trading Card here.

Stephen Curry comes with 3 additional hands (2 left, 1 right) and a hand with molded basketball.

The head sculpt not as accurate as LeBron's, but it's not too far off either. I've seen better and definitely seen a lot worse.

The overall details are well done. The finishing are clean without any smudges.

The figure is quite stable and easy to get into poses

The articulation is good without any unexpected limitation. I also noticed that the material used for the line (and other recent Hasbro 6" lines) is quite sturdy and don't get bent easily.

Another extra head would've been a good addition to the figure for more dynamic poses. But I guess, if you have to get stuck with one head sculpt, a neutral expression is the way to go.

The smaller claw size grip him securely on his hip (and also under the chest). Don't use his claw with LeBron as I'm worried it will bend the claw after long use.

The sculpt and articulation allowing wide range of poses to be done.

Stephen Curry 6" figure (1.88m) VS Lebron James 6.5" figure (2.05m)

Some sites listed Cyclops' height as 6'3" or  1.9m. While the exact number may differ, generally he's taller than Stephen Curry

Based on these 2 figures, the quality of Starting Lineup series 1 is quite good and promising provided the quality can be maintained (and of course, improved).

Some additional accessories can enhance the experience more like extra head sculpts (misc expression), additional basketball and whatnot.

I'm guessing along the way there will be special releases with the court's diorama?

The line will be launching worldwide on December 1, 2022, retailed at MYR269.90 /SGD99.90 / USD49.99
