McFarlane MegaFig Cygor - Pictorial Review

Another McFarlane release. Truth be told, he wasn't that high in my priority list, just thought buying him as part as the lineup.

Also, saw few reviewers complaint about him not able to stand upright and stuck in the gorilla pose. Let us see

First and foremost. The sculpt is great! Really impressive. Out of the box, you can feel the his weight, almost like handling Violator.

The detailing is also impressive, but could use more color especially on the left arm.

Nothing much on his right arm aside from the yellow wires. which poses a problem to his articulation.

Detail sculpt, no pain. Customizer's dream.

There were few reviewers mentioning that he can't stand up straight as the rubber crotch piece will detach and also break the sculpt from the body (gap between body and crotch piece)

I'm not sure if this is how they intended to pose him. I'm pretty sure he can stand up straight

Initially I prefer that the mouth to be able to open and close but I think the overall sculpt looks great like this, makes him look alive.

The overall articulation is acceptably limited considering the size. The head are ball joint which allow a bit of movement. The left shoulder are a bit limited due to the shoulder plate while the right hand, although have full range on the shoulder, is limited at the elbow due to the wires

The fists are sadly without articulation. Would've preferred them close rather than these

Size wise, he is roughly the size of Violator but without Violator's stability issue. Material wise he is solid, aside from the rubber crotch piece. 

I love how intimidating he look beside MK11 Spawn

In the end, I really like Cygor, even more than Violator as Spawn's villain. The reported crotch issue did bother me at first but luckily it's not as people said. While there are limitation to his articulation, I think it's sufficient for a figure his size. BUT the limited right elbow due to the wires is quite an amateur mistake. And also the fists.
