Limited Edition Transformers 40th Anniversary Coin Set

Been on a short hiatus welcoming a new member to the family. Received another package yesterday courtesy of Hasbro Malaysia and Hasbro Singapore with quite a number of goodies. We'll go through them one at a time.

First and foremost, commemorating the 40 years of Transformers (1984-2024), we have Transformers 40th Anniversary Coin Set, a Gift-With-Purchase limited edition merchandise. Before we go about how to attain it, let's check it out first.

As far as I remember, this is the second coin merchandize that is complete with a box (for at least Malaysia and Singapore's market)

Here it is next to last year's GWP, ROTB Coin set. Yeap, it's smaller. But doesn't necessarily means it's not as cool.

Inside, we have the coin itself and a card.

The 40th Anniversary card got some really cool G1 design with the serial number of that particular coin set. Mine is 0051/5000

The coin itself comes in another translucent protective case which can't really be seen here. The coin is heavy and thick, compared to last year coins. On one side we have the "40 Years Transformers" engraving with "Till All Are One" and "More Than Meets The Eye"

On the other side is a mash-up of Autobot/Decepticon insignia

FYI the coins are more silver than they are bronze

The 40 years coin is considerably bigger than last year and feels much more "premium"

So how do we go about getting it?

First, it's only valid for purchase of Transformers products distributed by Hasbro only.
Only one (1) redemption per receipt, with minimum purchase value of RM300 or SGD100
