Transformers Studio Series Core Class ROTB Noah Díaz Exo-Suit

We're really closing in on to the completion of ROTB lineup. Next we have the [somewhat bearable] human character of ROTB, Noah Diaz [Exo Suit].

Jet Blaster Mode

No he doesn't look exactly like in the movie. Noah follows his appearance at the end of the movie wearing an exo suit [technically he's wearing parts of Mirage] but this toy also comes with a jetpack.

Kibble wise...well, the whole Jetpack is a kibble. It pegs securely on his back so there's no issue of it falling off.

Officially called Jetpack Blaster mode. Basically it's Noah laying down. The blaster pegs at the front part of the jetpack. His hands and legs peg onto the jetpack securely.

Yeah, they didn't even try to hide it.

The jacpack can also transform into some sort of a blaster, which is the way I'm using it in my display.

Supposedly it is part of the exo suit, I would prefer if it uses the same grey as Mirage.

So, you don't really have to just put it aside. That's a [small] plus.

We'll discuss more about the jetpack at the end of the review.

Exo Suit

Now for the only thing that people care, Noah himself.

Personally I like the sculpt and detailing on him, despite being a small figure. The paint is a bit dull on some parts though, something I'd hope Hasbro would stop doing. Removing the cheap grey plastic color will help improve a figure by miles.

The joints to my surprise, are quite tight. Something I wouldn't expect when having this many ball joints.

The articulation is also good for a 3.75" figure.

The joints' strength and the articulation range makes him a somewhat fun figure to play with.

Aside from the jetpack, Noah also comes with a blaster that can be attached to his fist. The forearm blade on his right hand however is not detachable.

Now size wise. I think Arcee bot mode size is about right. Noah however is quite big.

He shouldn't be riding her I supposed.

Noah does look good next to Mirage, deco wisewise,  without thinking about their sizes.

He shouldn't be riding Optimus either!

So, how is he? Ignore the size and the jetpack inaccuracy, he's a nice addition to the line. In fact he's more fun to have than most core class releases.

On the topic of Noah's Jetpack. Given Mirage's box art and Scourge's head design [which are different from the movie], it's possible that the jetpack is a leftover from early concept. Maybe Noah could fly in the early concept? That it's more than just an Exo Suit and not at all related to Mirage?

Even more interesting if it was initially planned that the Exo Suit is Mirage's pretender? None of what I'm saying has proof to back them up. Just interesting to think about it
