Fansproject [Causality] CA-12 Last Chance - Pictorial Review

It's been 3 months since I last reviewed Down Force and now Intimidator (Not-Menasor) is one step closer to finishing with CA-12 Last Chance (Not-Dead End)

The last limb of Menasor, Dead End of the Stunticons transform into Porsche 928, forming Menasor's left arm (although not exclusively). Along with the other Stunticons, Dead End was given life  by Vector Sigma in an attempt by Megatron to form a ground-based unit, rivaled by Autobots' Aerialbots

Released 27 years ago

Mastermind Creations R-03 Feral Rex Bovis - Pictorial Review

Gestalts are forces to reckon with, tipping the scale in whichever war or battle they participates in. However, there's one particular team, whose combined form feared even by the other combiners, the King of The Beast, Predaking of the Predacons.

Pic Credit : Web
Fusing Divebomb, Headstrong, Rampage, Tantrum and Razorclaw of the Predacons, Predaking is ferocious demon with extreme physical abilities and personality. The perfect hunter and predator, Predaking, despite being animalistic, differ from his kind of uncontrollable and stupid machine.

Pic Credit : Web

Forming Predaking's right leg (although not exclusively), Tantrum seems to have his patience replaced and all filled with violence. And if you count pointless fight, endless destruction and senseless violence as 'fun', then he's the most fun bot out there

TFC Uranos [Project Uranos] - Pictorial Review

The first of many, the Aerialbots, consist of Silverbolt, Skydive, Slingshot, Air Raid and Fireflight, formed the first Autobots combiners (in the G1 US Continuity), Superion.

Pic Credit : Web
Despite being one of the most popular Autobots combiner ever, Superion is far from perfect, really far. In theory, the combining process of gestalts often results in insanity and instability due to the meshing of disparate personalities into one mismatched whole.

Overcoming this issue, Superion chose not to meld it together, instead shutting all out, the conflicting personalities of the Aerialbots. Deprieved from all that, Superion was left with sole purpose of destroying the Decepticons,  with Menasor at the top of his list, other than protecting the earth and human.

Pic Credit : Web
Superion's design was depicted in the cartoon having a mouth plate however it wasn't the case for his G1 toy nor most of the media, comic etc

TFC F-16 Falcon [Project Uranos] - Pictorial Review

Finally, nearing the end of Project Uranos however, despite the long wait, I dreaded the fact that it arrived simultaneously with ACG-HK Metroplex... I'm broke...

Let's continue, with the last member of TFC's Project Uranos (but not the last release, waiting for Wing Of Uranos), F-16 Falcon, Not-Skydive

Pic Credit : Web
Being the geek of the group, Skydive enjoys reading, a lot, before the hobby was destroyed with the release of Twilight Saga (LOL). However, foes are not to take him lightly, as he's capable of mimicking any flight patterns, any aerial tactics thanks to his filled up databank through his 'geeky' hobby. Just as his team members were, except for Silverbolt, Skydive was not, initially, bound to the whole Autobots cause.

TFC AV-8B Harrier II [Project Uranos] - Pictorial Review

It's been 4 months since the last update on Project Uranos. It might be old news already for some, I've just received the 4th member, AV-8B Harrier II (Not-Slingshot)

Pic Credit : Web

A selfish jerk! That pretty much summed him up. Slingshot, along with other members of the Aerialbots, was created as countermeasure and answer to The Stunticons threats. However, Slingshot made it clear that the safety of the earth, human and fellow Autobots are none of his concerns. Not to mention his zero respect to his commander, Silverbolt.

Despite having his opinion about the Autobots and protecting the innocence changed, Slingshot admired the Decepticons Jets and more, Megatron himself. It didn't last as Slingshot and the rest of the Aerialbots went back in time to Cybertron's pre-war era and watched with their own optics as past-Megatron casually destroy past-Orion Pax.

Pic Credit : Web
With that, he declared that Megatron will never be able to run from the Aerialbots ever again! Which Megatron did...over and over again...

Fansproject [Causality] CA-11 Down Force - Pictorial Review

First and foremost, thanks to 1 Toy for lending me this figure to be reviewed

Pic Credit : Web

The third member of the Stunticons, Drag Strip is the most competitive spark in the group. Winning no more becomes an option, it's a must for that he rather be obliterated than losing. Like the rest of his comrades, Drag Strip debut in the 2-part episode "The Key To Vector Sigma"

Drag Strip is one the recurring charatcters that showed up in almost all publications. He was originally voiced by Ronald Gans in the G1 animated series

Back in the days

In 2008, Drag Strip, a re-deco of Classics Deluxe Mirage was released under Universe Special Edition which only had 4 figures on its catalogue.

Now, let us continue with the 3rd release of Fansproject's Not-Stunticons, Down Force (Not-Drag Strip)

Fansproject [Causality] CA-10 T-Bone - Pictorial Review

Again, thanks to a dear friend who lent me this figure for review. I give you, Fansproject CA-10 T-Bone (Not-Wildrider) review

Pic Credit : Web
A lot of you out there might see Wildrider in your daily life, office, college, home and most certainly, Facebook. A bot who's an Adrenaline junky but couldn't care less (if he could, he would), raising alarm even to his fellow Decepticons. But a loose cannon he ain't but crazy's his middle name

It's hard to match his personality with his toy

Fansproject [Causality] CA-09 Car Crash - Pictorial Review

In Transformers, there's always a pair, their arch nemesis, mortal enemy. You got Optimus Prime and Megatron, Metroplex and Trypticon, Soundwave and Blaster, so on and so forth. Autobots has always been the king of the road, having advantage of ground attack and defend against the force of Decepticons. When their scheme to steal a super fuel was rundown by the Autobots, Megatron opt to break this power gap and to take control of the ground from the Autobots, giving birth to the Stunticons

The Stunticons was created with 5 stolen earth vehicles, performed extremely well neutralizing Autobots ground advantage. Moving forward, as a countermeasure, Aerialbots were born

Rumble : Incredible, not even the Autobots can do that kind of stunt driving!
Megatron : Stunt driving? Yesss. Behold, the Stunticons!
Pic Credit : Web

After a long rest from their combiner release, Fansproject continue with the release of Not-Stunticons. Take note this figure was lent to me by a dear friend as I skipped the Fansproject-Scale combiners

Paranoid, the one word to describe Stunticons Breakdown, with the constant agitation that 'everyone' and 'everything' is watching him. However, on road, he should not be undermined, a worthy foe indeed

TFC SR-71 Blackbird & X-47 Phantom Ray [Project Uranos] - Pictorial Review

Been waiting for quite sometime for him considering that he's going to be the last new mold of Project Uranos (the last 2 are re-tooled of the the first 2 figures). But came across few hick-up with the supplier which resulted in a short delay.

Pic Credit : Web

Created alongside with his comrades of Aerialbots, Silverbolt is the commander of the air team that act as a counter-measure for Decepticons' Stunticons. Built from a low-flying cargo transport vessel, Silverbolt face with an uncanny weakness, height which is laughable considering his role. He fight against it, overcoming his fear and become a great commander leading his strike team

Pic Credit : Web
His first toy in the 80's is proven to be having (at least proportional and) a great design, especially when comparing him with other Gestalts Commander

Pic Credit : Web
In 2008, Hasbro surprised fans with the release of Universe 2.0 Ultra Class Silverbolt with a mold that worthy of the name. It's a shame though him and Onslaught (and Hotspot, in 2012) were released as a non-combiner robot

Kre-O Micro Changers Combiners Constructicon Devastator - Pictorial Review

After getting the Preview Wave, I was hooked! Brick had never been my cup of tea but the image of the new Combiners set really get my attention. Found all 4 of the set at a local Toys R Us, went back home with all 4

Let's start with Constructicon Devastator set

TFC F-15 Eagle [Project Uranos] - Pictorial Review

Next is the 2nd part of Project Uranos, released not along after Phantom, the F-15 Eagle (Not-Air Raid).

Pic Credit : Web

Nothing much can be said about him but during the attack of Decepticons with their new weapons, the Stunticons, Air Raid had proven to be the most effective out of the Aerialbots in the battle, taking down Seekers whent his fellow members took a few hits

With that heroic act in mind, let us see the warrior, 80s style!

Pic Credit : Web
More or less like his team member, Fireflight. Don't get me wrong, this was almost 30 years ago that during that time, Air Raid and his geng was PRETTY DAMN AWESOME!!

Let's move on to TFC version of the Not-Air Raid, F-15 Phantom

TFC F-4 Phantom [Project Uranos] - Pictorial Review

After the success of Project Hercules, TFC offered fans with similarly craved by fans figures, continuing their effort in releasing yet another Transformers G1-Not-Combiners, Uranos (Not-Superion)

First of all, the team that formed Superion was Aerialbots, a 5-jets team consisting Silverbolt (Leader, Concorde SST), Air Raid (Boeing F-15C Eagle), Fireflight (McDonnell Douglas F-4B Phantom II),  Skydive (General Dynamics F-16C Fighting Falcon) and Slingshot (McDonnell Douglas AV-8B Harrier II).

Pic Credit : Web

Rebuilded from old shuttles, they act as a counter-measure of Decepticons newly formed combiner team, Stunticon. Stunticons were set out to 'take the ground' dominated by Autobots (as most are land vehicles) resulting in Autobots taking the area once dominated by Decepticons, the sky

Superion

For the first release, TFC had given has F-4 Phantom (Not Fireflight). First, let see him from the last century's prespective

In G1, he can describe as a reckless flyer, pays no attention to the safety of others as he can get easily distracted.

Pic Credit :Web
Toy representation, as it were. And he was small! Really-really small. Now, for TFC's offering
