Transformers Age of the Primes Deluxe Class The Thirteen Solus Prime

Continuing on with another one of The Thirteen, among one of the famous ones, Solus Prime, courtesy of Hasbro SG and Hasbro MY.

In Package

I haven't mention this before but I'm glad they brought back the window box. The MISB Collector must be thrilled!

The box art features a striking illustrated portrait of Solus wielding her forge hammer, a reminder of her role as the master builder of the Primes.

Alt Mode

Solus Prime transforms into a Cybertronian truck of some sort, and the design is quite compact and functional. However she doesn't feel as solid as Prima in this mode

The thighs are visible at the back-portion of the vehicle which is a bummer. Wouldn't be an issue if the thighs are purple though.

Under bright light you can see the different tones of the plastics. The gold add a nice contrast to the alt mode. The shape....either you like it or you don't

Not a bad alt mode but it should have pegged together better. It's not that bad but could be better.

Robot Mode

Another nice design homage, this time from her appearance in Power of The Primes. The robot mode is a visually striking blend of 2 different shade of purples and gunmetal silver, accented with yellow/gold.

Wielding her weapon, The Forge of Solus Prime.

Plastic quality is good, especially for a modern Deluxe. The purple plastic has a rich sheen to it, and the paint applications are sharp, particularly the gold detailing. There’s minimal hollowness, and the hammer accessory has nice sculpted grooves, though it's a bit plain in color.

There are flaps on both her forearm that are not pinned making them easy to fall off.

Simple Weapon Storage

Just like Prima, she has sufficient articulations to wield and use the weapon given to her. Most of the joints are tight but not stiff. But on my copy, the ankles are a bit loose, I can't say whether it's just my copy or all.

Compared to Prima, Solus fell short in terms of build and the feel of the plastics, but that bad. She reminded me of MMC fembot from years ago, but better.
